My sister Robin sent me a slide show with this program and I thought I would give it a whirl. I like it alot but the only thing that may keep me fom using it too much is that I am having this blog bound in to a hardcover book for Landry(with some editing, of course) for her to have when she is older and the pictures on this blog are the best part! I smocked Landry an Easter dress & bonnet and although you can't see it in any of these photos, it was really pretty. I embroidered her intials in the crown of her bonnet and finished it late yesterday afternoon...just in time! I wanted her first Easter to be special and it really was. We ate lunch with her Grandmother after church and then we went by the cemetary to visit Sophie and then came home to a beautiful afternoon. I love Easter for many reasons. The aroma of the church with it dressed in all of the beautiful flowers spiritually connects me to the reason we celebrate this glorious day. I know that some people come because it falls under the CME guilt factor(Christmas, Mother's Day, Easter) and they feel like they should but honestly, I don't care why they come as long as they are filled with the spirit when they do. The thing that put me in the best mood today was watching the Easter egg hunt on Sophie's playground. There aren't many things that can put a smile on my face faster than hearing laughter and joy coming from that playground. Can't wait till Landry can give me the double whammy on that! |
