Growth Spurt
Poor little Landry was a little grumpy today. I think she is going through a growth spurt and she can't seem to get enough food these days. She's already eating more than I think she is supposed to be but if she cries I have to feed her belly. I know it looks like I am starving her!
Mike and I took the bread and wine to the alter this morning (it's called Oblations) so I juggled her in one arm and wine in the other....imagine that ;) She was perched up on my shoulder and entertained the congregation as we walked up the middle of the aisle. She is holding her head up so
well these days....yet another milestone to my growing girl. We had a long weekend....we may be buying a mini-van...OMG, did I just say that outloud?! My Lexus SUV is very nice but it isn't very big and after I put my stroller
in it, nothing else will fit. If you have a suggestion or a thought, please feel free to comment. We are looking at the Honda Odyssey. It really is a nice vehicle and it drives, I think, even better than my Lexus. Anyway, I haven't pulled the trigger yet but I am getting the itch. This is one of my favorite features on it. It is a back up camera built into the rearview mirror when it is in reverse. My Hot Mama factor will get seriously bruised if I go the way of the mini-van but I think I can live with that for my Landrybug.

I say go for it!!! As you know me and Ward just purchased one ourselves. Let me tell you, the more I drive it, the more I love it.
Join the cool mamma club....hey if you are going to own one might as well be in the coolest one! Never thought I would own one with just one kid...but within two months of Patrick's arrival my back was screaming...."trade this four door thing in NOW"....so glad my husband was right for once!
Love ya

I have a Nissan Quest...the newer ones and I have loved it. I am short and it was easy for me to just reach over and put carseats in...where with a SUV I felt like I had to jump in then put kids in. In the minivan you are practically just stepping in. The back does have lots more room. And now that my twins are four they just walk right on it unlike in the tahoe we just tested where they had to jump in themselves, of course they thought that was cool. BUT here comes the BUT...it is time for us to trade this in...b/c of mileage, 2004, and no one wants it. All the dealerships are saying they don't want to give us very much for it because they are not what people are wanting. So...if you plan on driving it until the wheels fall off you won't have a problem but if you will want to trade it in in several years you'll have to think about it. Just a thought for the future but otherwise you will LOVE it!
Thanks for the advice...never thought about the trade in factor. I guess I'll just have to live in the now and worry about the trade in later :)
