False Alarm!
Well, I made a trip to the hospital tonight because I thought Baby M was going to make his/her grand appearance. They checked me into Labor & Delivery, gowned me up tested me in a dozen ways and stuck an IV in my arm (OUCH!) and I stayed on a monitor for 6 hours. I was contracting every 2-5 minutes for a while and then they gave me something to slow them down. They thought it would be okay to let me go home because I have a doctors appt tomorrow and I wasn't progressing any further. I am at almost 2 cm so I could go into labor at anytime. What a kick in the butt that gave me. Mike was a champ of course and he took great care of me. The baby looks great and it finally turned downward. It had been in a transverse position for sometime so we were having to consider a c-section. All is well. I am heading to bed after a long awaited meal. I was starving when I got home at midnight so I am eating and typing at the same time. I will keep you posted if anything changes....r

This picture was taken at a Halloween Party this year. I was a nurse and
Mike was a Candy Striper....not stripper. Aren't we a pair!

Okay, it's time. It's time to update this blog and move on. I couldn't bring myself to removing any other posts but you may notice that they are from when I was pregnant with Sophie and I couldn't bring myself to erasing them or changing them so I decided to just leave them and pick up with Baby M2.
I am less than a month than away from my scheduled induction date(Dec 17th) and boy am I ready! I am getting bigger by the minute and I stay pretty tired but I am trying really hard not to complain. All I want is for this baby to get here safe and sound. It is a scary place to be for both me and Mike. Bless his heart, he has done so much to try to make things better for me. He has really worked hard to keep my sanity intact.
Right now the baby is transverse so if the little booger doesn't turn, I am going to have to have a c-section. I am going to the doctor every week now and have a non-stress test just to check the baby. Seems like everything is going pretty good. I couldn't have made it this far without my family and my wonderful friends. You have all been my rock and I can't tell you what it has meant to both of us to have such great people around us.
I had a great baby shower today and got so many things for the baby. I was looking forward to seeing everyone and my wonderful hostesses put on a heck of a spread. It was so nice and lots of fun....thanks Pam M., Lisa, Pam W., Laura and Jan! You guys are the best!
