Face lift
Well, I guess I don't have to tell you I've got a new look. I thought it was about time I look like a blogger that means business! One of my newest prized possessions is my portrait of Landry in the Christening gown that I made for her. It was shot by the very talented team of Marion and Gary Silber. I have, by the way, scanned this photo and posted it with their permission to put on my blog....thanks M & G!! If you live in Jackson (or the South for that matter) I don't have to tell you how incredible their work is. They are Master artisans in the craft of portrait photography. As frugal as I am on most things, I knew that I would not skimp on getting a portrait done of Landry in this gown. I had envisioned it a thousand times in my head and I still wasn't even close in how they captured her. The 20x24 that we ordered is absolutely breathtaking. This is not the one we had made in to the big one. It is even more beautiful if you can imagine and I cannot wait for it to come in! They took a combination of all 3 of us together, Landry and me, and Landry and her Daddy...which is my favorite. I bought a few enlargements and all of the proofs. YIKES! The whole experience was a lot of fun and we were more than pleased. I will post a few more of my favorites in the coming week. If you get a chance, check out their website here to see their work and to get inspired. If you can't help yourself and you have to get some done :), tell them you saw Landry's picture on the blog and that I sent you. On the right I have a poll....tell me what you think of the new look.

First of all, I can't believe how talented you are!!! Her dress is amazing. Second of all, you will never regret your photos and what you pay for them. We use a lady here and pay quite a bit more than most places but it is wellllll worth every penny. She looks wonderful, I am sure the other pictures are breath taking as well!! what did you decide on the minivan?? we debated that and went with the 7 seater SUV instead so that we would have the extra room when the last row was put down.
