Stabbin' Cabin-1 yr.
Poor Baby Buggins. She was in such a great mood this afternoon. She got to see her Daddy after a few days of missing him and within a few minutes they had pricked her finger and poked her with two shots. She cried like I have never heard her cry. It made my heart hurt to hear her so distraught. I just hate that any child has to go through it much less mine. It seems like there could be a better way to administer these things! I know every mother goes through this angst but I absolutely hate it. I'm sure no more than she does but I can't take the alligator tears.
Fortunately, after she recovered, she was in pretty good spirits. We had her laughing before we left the office so thankfully she forgot about the 3 inch needle that pierced her flesh and saturated and burned her muscle. Okay..I know I'm a little dramatic but everything I said was true, so there! She is starting to catch on too so I wonder how many more times we'll walk in there and still have a happy face. We took the office staff at our pediatricians office pizzas for Christmas. Thought it would be nice to treat them to lunch so we got there early and everyone was so sweet to her. I think she thought she was a rock star until we actually went into an examination room. Poor baby...glad we are done with the stabbin' for a little while and I am certain she is.
