Birthday Girl Part 2

Mike told me he was going to get Landry a birthday present and I said that I had already bought her several. He informed me that HE was going to get her a Daddy present and pretty much inferred that I needed to mind my own business...but in the nicest way possible. ;) I thought to myself...what in the world is he going to get her. Would it be an outfit...please Lord, no! Would it be a toy that she might already have under the tree? Would be some over priced gadget that she really doesn't need? NOPE....Only one of these was close to my prediction. Landry got the new Elmo LIVE! New and hot off the shelves at Babys r' us was the latest and greatest thing for the holiday season. As luck would have it, Landry has her own little holiday in December so she is really racking up. This thing, sits down, stands up, tells jokes, tells you that he fell down if he gets knocked over and even asks you to pick him back up and thanks you to boot! He hugs, blows kisses and tells you that he doesn't have any cavities. The funny thing is that while Mike and I were cracking up over this new guy, Landry was far more enamoured with the blue plastic chair he sits on. 3 people thoroughly entertained.....not a bad deal for $59.99. I'll post a video of her with it when I get a minute to breath.
