Poopie Time!
I was at my Aunt Elaine’s house and she was telling me that my cousin was potty trained at 13 months old. Well I thought, hmm…maybe I can do that with Landry. I was waiting for the ‘look. You know the one when her eyes start to pop out of her head, her face gets beet red and she stiffens up. You’ve all seen the look. Anyway, I got one of those looks this morning and I scooped her up, took her diaper off and took her straight to the toilet. She looked at me like ‘What the heck are you doing, Mama?!’ but I kept telling her to go poopie on the potty over and over. Well, she finished her business and I went nuts telling her how proud I was of her and doing the poopie dance. She absolutely had no idea what she did so right but I can promise you the next time I get ‘the look’ I will be doing the poopie dance again!
