Say NO to Crack!
If Landry doesn't cure cancer or save the world in some meaningful way, she can always become a plumber. Bless her heart.
On another note, I have been manning the fort solo these past few days and while I love the quite time with Landry, we miss her Daddy when he is gone. 24/7 is a lot when she has been kind of grumpy.
I was getting her ready for bed tonight and I don't know what came over me but I just held her so tight and started to cry. I felt so grateful for this sweet, wonderful miracle I had in my arms. Even through her fussiness, she is still a GREAT baby. I am blessed beyond measure at how really good I have it. I have so much to be thankful for and I know it. Mike left me a really sweet note(taped to Landry's bottle in the fridge so he would make SURE I found it) and it really made me feel special. He told me how great of a mother(and wife) I am and that is something I ALWAYS like hearing. I think a key word in most relationships is gratitude. Love is something we just assume(and sometimes take for granted) but gratitude is something that we all need to feel, see, and know. My sister told me once that that is one of the hardest things to instill in your child is gratitude. Like most parents she works on it constantly with her four and hopefully by the time Landry is due for a life lesson, she will give me some magical words that will make her(my) life easier. Come on Rhonda, I am counting on you!!! Anyway, my personal challenge is to show a little more gratitude to those I love. I'll start out by thanking you for reading my blog.
Thanks!!!!

Renee,
Yes one day Landry will love the pictures that her mama thought were so cute she had to post them for everyone to see. You had better hope that one day when you are much older that you will not have to wear diapers. I only wish I could be around to see the pictures and post Ms. Landry would have. I do hope that Landry will understand, just how cute we think she is(all parts.)So Landry please don't be upset that your Mama shared many parts of you with us we all think you are soooo cute.
Renee on a personal note to you, I know you are blessed with Landry, but you are a blessing to this precious little girl. You are such a wonderful mother. When I see you with Landry, well... it just fills my heart. The two of you belong together.I do not think you will have any problems teaching her about gratitude, because she only has to watch her Mama. Actions are louder than words, and she has the perfect teacher.
Love,
Aunt Big Momma
What a cute bum! thanks for the sweet words and when I figure out the "magic" words - I will let you know! Julie is right (in her comment) that actions do speak louder than words - my kids remind me of that all the time ~ the good, the bad and the ugly :)come out in our actions - no pressure - ha ha!
love,
Rhonda
